Southside Fellowship is an active supporter of Church Community Services (CCS) which is a faith-based nonprofit agency assiting those in need in Elkhart County with food and emergency financial assistance.  CCS also runs a program entitled, Soup of Success, which helps women in poverty learn job skills that can lead to self-sufficiency.  Many members of the congregation have volunteered time and money as well as food staples in support of this organization.

Five years ago the CCS board began a discussion to solve space issues that were coming with the increasing demand for food and emergency help.  Currently CCS is purchasing an existing structure that was used by NIPSCO and remodeling it to meet their needs.  The new space is over 19,000 square feet--triple the size of CCS's last building.  As of now, CCS has been serving roughly 500 new clients a month since relocating.

Southside Fellowship has committed to giving 10% above budget to help pay for CCS's  new building and has taken an active role in raising money for CCS's Capital Campaign.  To learn more about CCS please visit www.churchcommunityservices.org .

We also support Center for Community Justice which is based in Elkhart and have several members who work with this organization.

Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) is another organization our church suports.

Lastly, we are a church committed to peace and justice issues.
